Denial Management Executive
Job Overview
Med Bill Solutions is looking for an experienced Denial Management Executive to identify, analyze, and resolve denied medical claims. The ideal candidate will have expertise in denial handling, appeals management, and payer-specific guidelines to ensure maximum reimbursement and reduced revenue loss.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze denied or rejected insurance claims.
Identify root causes of denials and implement corrective actions.
Prepare and submit appeals for denied claims within required timelines.
Work closely with coding, billing, and AR teams to resolve claim issues.
Monitor denial trends and generate reports for process improvement.
Ensure compliance with payer policies and healthcare regulations.
Maintain accurate records of appeals, resolutions, and claim status updates.
Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim reconsiderations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in denial management or medical billing.
Strong understanding of denial codes, appeals processes, and insurance guidelines.
Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience handling Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance claims.
Familiarity with revenue cycle management software and EHR systems.
